He joined this station in December 1986 where he anchors weather news at 5, 6, and 10 p.m. Prior to joining FOX 5 News, he had served as the morning meteorologist for CNN in Atlanta, Georgia. Before joining CNN, Nick served as a meteorologist for WTLV-Channel 12 (ABC) in Jacksonville, Florida.

Nick also serves as a Designated Pilot Examiner for Westchester County Airport, the KHPN s as a flight instructor, whereby he is the chief pilot for Performance Flight, which utilizes the Cirrus SR20 and SR22 aircraft for its fleet. The flight school is located at Westchester County Airport in White Plains, New York. Most recently he has been hired as a pilot by Hopscotch Air, which provides air taxi services throughout the northeast.
