From 2004 to 2010, he worked at KRDO in Colorado Springs. He initially began his journalism career in May 2003 in Chico, California immediately after graduating from the University of Colorado.
Throughout his career journey, he has visited Texas whereby he covered the evacuation of residents from New Orleans to Houston following Hurricane Katrina.
