David Muir Biography
David Muir is an American Emmy Award-winning journalist and television personality. Muir is the anchor of ABC World News Tonight and co-anchor of the ABC News magazine 20/20 in New York City. Muir joined ABC News in August 2003 as the presenter of ABC’s news program “World News Now“, which aired overnight.
Prior to ABC News Tonight, Muir served as the weekend anchor and sometimes was the substitute anchor on ABC’s World News Tonight with Diane Sawyer, before he succeeded her on 20/20 on September 1, 2014, and co-hosts with Good Morning America’s Amy Robach.
